Bellaire Democrats Meeting for May, 2012

Bellaire Democrats will hold its Annual Family Picnic on Friday, May 11, 2012, 6:00 pm, at the home of Nancy & Jim Lomax, 4801 Maple St, Bellaire TX 77401.

Bellaire Democrats will provide a wonderful FREE outdoor picnic catered by Fajita Pete's.   We will provide chicken and beef fajitas and all the fixings to go with them, along with beer, wine, soft drinks.   You may bring a favorite side dish or dessert if you like, but it is not required.

So that we can be sure to have plenty of food and drinks, please RSVP by replying to this E-mail (patrick.durio@durio.pro), or leave a message at (832) 423-4038.  Please provide your name and the total number of people expected in your group.  If you plan on bringing a favorite side dish or dessert, please let us know that as well.

2. May 29, 2012 (Tue) - Texas Democratic Primary Election

The Texas Democratic Primary Election will be held on Tuesday, May 29, 2012.  Detailed information about early voting, voting by mail, and voting on Election Day will be provided soon.

3. Future Meeting Dates

   (Meeting locations are in Bellaire-area restaurants, and are announced prior to each month’s meeting.)

Bellaire Democrats will take some time off during the summer months of June and July 2012.   We will be sending you dues notices for the new fiscal year of June 1, 2012 through May 31, 2013, along with information about our next meeting dates and election events.

a).       The current fiscal year of Bellaire Democrats is June 1, 2011 through May 31, 2012. You may go to www.BellaireDemocrats.org to obtain a membership form. Our dues are based on your ability to pay (starting as low as $5 per year).

b).       We keep our E-mail transmissions to one per month, unless a special need arises.  Please note that members’ contact information and E-mail addresses are kept confidential, and are not provided to outside parties.
